This large 30cm NZ Maori Greenstone Pounamu Mere is made from New Zealand greenstone, known in Maori as pounamu, found on the West Coast of the South Island of New Zealand.
At approximately 30cm (12") long, the mere is an impressive piece of greenstone to admire and marvel over.
The pounamu mere can be purchased with or without a wooden stand and/or a presentation gift box. With the stand and/or gift box, it makes an excellent presentation piece to retiring business leaders, inspiring coaches, for a 21st, 50th birthday, tangi, etc.

- 34cm plain pine stand
- 38cm tulip wood with carving
The Greenstone Mere is finished off with a plaited strap. Please always hold the mere at the short end, with your hand through the strap. This is a valuable item that you don't want to drop. Greenstone dropped at just the right angle on a hard floor can shatter.
Ideally, store it on a wooden stand and enjoy looking at the innate beauty of New Zealand Greenstone Jade (pounamu).
There is also the option of having the stand engraved.
Choose up to 5 words for laser engraving into the wood, or up to 8 words for an engraved metal plate, entering the words in the Options box that opens up when you select an engraving option. Please note that the only reason you can return an engraved stand is in the unlikely event that it is faulty or words have been spelled incorrectly. You cannot return the stand just because you have changed your mind over the wording.
Paua engraving is also available, for up to 18 characters, and only in CAPITALS. It goes on top of the dark stand, or the front of the lighter tulip wood stand.

Steps:
a) Choose your words.
b) Select the Engraved option in the Option box.
c) Enter your words in the Engraving Wording box. (If you can't see the Engraving Wording box, it means you haven't selected the Engraved option yet).
Allow 3-4 days for engraving to be done. If you need an emblem engraved into the wood, please get in touch for us to provide you with a quote.

Airmail shipping around the world, with the added bonus of basic tracking (shipped, arrival in destination country, delivery). Not insured. Shipping this way is at your own risk - there is no compensation if the parcel goes missing. However the likelihood of a tracked parcel going missing is very low.
Economy Courier
Priority shipping around the world, delivered by your local postal authority. Can ship to a PO Box. Insured and comprehensive tracking.
Express Courier
The fastest courier option, using couriers including DHL, Fedex and TNT. Insured and comprehensive tracking. Cannot be used to deliver to PO Boxes, and must be signed for.

Airmail - only used for items sold with shipping included, mostly plain cords and iron on patches. Shipped using NZ Post.
Pick Up From Store
Only available for those who can pick up from Whangarei within 24-48 hours after the order has been prepared. We will contact you when your order is ready to be picked up. Pick up hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, and the address is 12 Pahau Ave, Tikipunga, Whangarei. Come down right hand side of building to first door.
Order Processing Times
Allow 1 business day for an order to be processed, and 1 business day for packing. If an item has temporarily gone out of stock, re-stocking most often takes 2 days but can be up to 2 weeks. We will contact you regarding any major delays.

If you cannot see it in your inbox, please check your spam or junk folders, in case your email provider has inadvertently put it there. Please check your confirmation email carefully to make sure you have correctly entered your address and that of the recipient (if you are sending elsewhere).
