Design your own Korowai Design your own Korowai
We have korowai for sale, but if you want to design your own with the feathers and taniko we have, you can do that.
All feathers have been fumigated, so the korowai can be shipped out of New Zealand, and we can supply a fumigation certificate to ship with it.
Click the links below to choose the feather colours you would like in your korowai, and the taniko to go along the top of the korowai.
Our korowai are machine stitched, to save time and money and ensure a longer life. Traditionally made korowai (proper name kahu huruhuru) were created from flax and feathers. Whilst incredibly beautiful, traditional korowai take a long time to make (and hence at great cost), and flax gradually breaks down over time.
Please note that colours can appear different on different computer monitors or devices, so when you request a bespoke korowai it can only be returned if it is faulty, and not because you don't like the colours in the finished garment. We will, however, advise you if we think the colours will not look good or will clash with others chosen.
